Last night I joined the longest and wettest queue in the history of queues to see Mos Def perform at the Forum. My hopes were high, maybe too high as I left feeling slightly jibed. Armed with my kaleidoscope I was hoping to witness something similar to the clip below. It would have been nice to see a live band or a special guest for my money.
Lyrics that were left ringing in my ears “It’s a dangerous necessity, it’s a world famous mystery, Love”
Mos Def
Man down
I’m devastated. Me G10 stopped working. The jokers in the shop say I could have to wait up to 28 days for it to get fixed. Feels like I’m missing a limb.

DANGER
There’s no shame in selling your street cred for some quick cash, if I had any I’d do the same!
It’s not the typical screw face we’re used to seeing, this must have developed with the stresses of becoming so well known in the blogging community…
Sarah, I owe you a drink or two for this quality find.
I give you pre Ollie Danger of Betterneverthanlate we ♥ you

Krystalklear
A friend made in unexpected circumstances (I’m sure the feeling is mutual) has proven to be a talent worth keeping an eye on. Already getting air play on Benji b’s 1Xtra show and with lots of exciting ideas in the pipeline I wish them all the best. For more check out the Myspace

Music and Visual Art
LOVE this idea! Christian Marclay also known for cutting and re-joining records (that are playable!) put these masterpieces together. Already tempted to buy records based on the cover alone I don’t need any encouragement to attempt my own LP cover montage.
Thanks to Jack for bringing it to my attention.

Front Door Book
Inspired by Clayton Patterson’s Front Door Book the one and only Kim Plotel.

NONSENSE 2nd birthday
I really can’t say enough about how good this night is. The host’s, beats and crowd are incredible and all that coming together in my second home Plastic People is the icing on the cake. Standing ovation for Judah, Benny Blanco and Mr. Wonderful. More please!!

About time…
I started playing records. These arrived in my living room just in time for me to host the first Soul Train party (with all 5 records I own!), the excitement is beyond!! With a little help from my friends I should know what I’m doing some time soon
